Jasmine Alves
President of Girl Talk Publishing



As President, Jasmine is responsible for developing programs and curriculum related to Girl Talk publications. She will conduct workshops and head research leading to quantitative data that supports the educational advantages of all our products.

Jasmine received a B.A. in Socio-cultural Anthropology from Columbia University in 2013. A science teacher at Legacy Charter School in Newark, New Jersey, she will begin studying law at the University of Virginia in summer 2016.




Anisa Robinson

National Spokesperson

Anisa Robinson was born in Jamaica Queens New York, on March 1st, 2003. She acted in a host of stage plays in elementary and middle school. Anisa was selected to be a part of the Jersey City School District’s Advanced Enrichment Program and is currently an honor student at Academy 1 in Jersey City, New Jersey.

She works very well with her peers and helped her school win the Jersey City Public Schools Scholastic and Black History Bowl in 2016. In summer 2016 she was named Valedictorian of her STEM summer program where she maintained a 99.5 average.

In the Spring of 2016 talent scouts of Girl Talk Publishing were wooed by Anisa during the interview process for selecting their national spokesperson. There were dozens of extremely smart and talented young ladies that auditioned but she stood out.

A few weeks later, Anisa was named the National Spokesperson for Girl Talk Publishing. In this role she will inspire her peers to take a stand against bullying as the star of the one person monologue set, Stopping the Vicious Cycle of Bullying. She will also have a strong social media presence in order to advise and encourage her peers.
